MIDL: The MIDL is a traditional but modern?), hooked bead road racing wheel. The rim has an internal width of 21mm internal and 28mm external for optimum tire fitment and aero benefits with a wider tire. Weight is very good for such a chunky, hooked rim at 1,420gr (DT 240) to 1,520gr (DT350). 

The MIDL is ideal for 25mm to 30mm wide tires, and with a hooked bead allows high pressure inflation (up to 120PSI). The depth, at 45mm, is what I would characterize as "mid depth". You could also call it Goldilocks. 

These are for folks who still are more comfortable running high pressures, or 25mm tires, and are not yet on board with hookless and 70PSI max inflation, and 28mm or wider road tires (see the XPLOR or FAST HV models for that).

Rims are constructed using graphene doped Toray T800 carbon fiber. Graphene doping is a process using wherein a very small amount of graphene (under 2%) is added to the carbon matrix during processing. My experience has shown this improves toughness, allowing pretty significant weight reductions in the rim construction.

The MIDL is 24 hole, laced in a 2-cross configuration front and rear using Sapim CX Ray aero spokes.
